Courses

Last year we had a major rebuild of the pottery studio. It is now a fantastic place to work in, I put a lot of thought into the design and it has been as sustainably as possible. It is warm and light and welcoming. We have two continental kick wheels and three electric wheels.

I share this beautiful space with Fleen Doran my apprentice and assistant. Between us, we run various courses, focused on developing throwing and hand building skills, with an emphasis on practice and developing mindfulness in our making.

The focus is on the process rather than the product. That said there is an opportunity for students to have pots fired at a later date.

I aim to create a calm space in which students can learn, reflect and share within a relaxed, supportive and inspiring environment and hopefully find themselves restored by the magic both of the place and the clay.
